7b5 Labs' new game - Subatomic - has finally made its way to the App Store! This is a brand new game for the iPhone (or iPod Touch) that anyone can play for 30 seconds or 30 minutes - hopefully it's just a tiny bit addictive. The game is free (but you need to upgrade to unlock higher levels). On a related note, XPilot for the iPhone version 1.1.2 was also just released and it's now completely free!

The summer of U2 has come to a close with a total of five shows for me: Dublin x2, Boston, DC, and Charlottesville. Maybe next year I can catch a few more shows, because it'm sure I'll be going through some withdrawal not being able to see U2 live. Great times traveling, excellent setlists, and amazing shows! After three months of hard work, XPilot for the iPhone is available in the App Store! My old friend and college roommate Sean and I formed a little side company called 7b5 Labs. We ported the old networked space game XPilot to the iPhone, and Apple just approved it for sale. We'll see what happens, but I'm pretty satisfied with just learning iPhone development and going through the process of setting up a Developer account with Apple (it seemed at times that was almost more difficult that the coding itself). update 2009.08.01: Version 1.1 is now available.

I suppose it's the Mecca-equivalent for U2 fans: seeing them perform live in their hometown. So that's what I get to do in July as I travel to Dublin for the U2360 tour. This will be my 12th time seeing them live, and I'm expecting nothing short of a brilliant time! The new album rocks, by the way. update 2009.04.06: I'll be at two shows in Dublin (July 24, 25), and two back in the states (Charlottesville, VA and DC).
